Spring Is In The Air

With the warmer weather, I have been mesmerizing about the upcoming Spring, kayaking on the Hudson River, sailing on the Half Moon and even camping in Lake George. This winter has seen a wide variety of weather from frigid, below zero temperatures to temperatures in the high 40’s.

Over the past few years, our winters have had little snow and abnormal, high temperatures. This year, the ground hog has said that there will be six extra weeks of winter, then again, it seems like there is every year anyways. The sun is now setting just after 5:30 PM and rising earlier as well. Pretty soon we will see the days getting longer, with more sunshine and more warmth.

I can’t wait for Spring to get here and already have plans to make this Spring full of excitement. Once it is warm enough, I will get my kayak out on the Hudson River and then I’ll be sailing the high seas on the Replica Ship Half Moon.

What are you doing to get ready for Spring in the Hudson River Valley?
