Mystic Whaler Moves In!

Over this past weekend, while aboard the Replica Ship Half Moon, we came across the schooner, Mystic Whaler. The Mystic Whaler is based out of New London, Connecticut, where the Half Moon often docks during the summer, in preparation for the Goodwin College Voyage of Discovery.

Just yesterday, by coincidence, I had the honor of coming across the Mystic Whaler once more. I decided to go to Rensselaer Riverfront Park last night to take photographs for my digital photography class when I witnessed the Mystic Whaler pulling up to the dock. I had no clue at all that they would be coming all the way to Rensselaer. Crossing Long Island Sound is a journey in its self.

Check out the photographs below from aboard the Half Moon and from Rensselaer Riverfront Park.
